GRAF acquires production companies in Australia

GRAF has had a representation in Australasia ever since it acquired its Australian subsidiary over seven years ago. The European market leader in rainwater harvesting is now acknowledging the positive developments made during this time by investing in its own on-site production facility.

“We are looking forward to a highly positive market development in Australia and across Oceania. Having our own production company has been on our wish list for a while now,” says Otto P. Graf, Managing Director. “On-site production is mainly limited to items that represent a considerable logistical challenge in Germany,” continues GRAF.

Until now, the Baden-based water management specialist has reflected the significance of this region with two sales companies, one in Perth, WA and another in Brisbane, QLD.

The GRAF team has already enjoyed many years of successful collaboration with the Omni Manufacturing team in Perth, which boasts 20 years’ experience in the manufacture of plastic products. So far, the company has produced water tanks and other large-volume items by rotational moulding, marketing these products on the Australian market. With 15 employees and three rotary machines, it has generated annual sales of AUD$4 million to date. Since the beginning of October, the company has operated under the name GRAF Plastics Australia.

GRAF would like to wish continued success to its new subsidiary and employees.
